Topaz Ring

Topaz Ring

Topaz is available in a range of hues.

Its natural state is golden brown to yellow. However, the impurities and treatments done on the stone lend different colours that range widely on the entire colour spectrum.

In jewellery the most preferred colour is blue; but pink, yellow, orange and even rainbow coloured Topaz are also popular.

Topaz scores 8 points on the Mohs scale. This depicts that the stone is hard enough to be carved into jewellery. Topaz is found in abundance; hence, it lies in affordable ranges. Moreover, it is the birthstone for people born in November and December.

Topaz is used for multiple purposes, even when it comes to jewellery. It sits as the centrepiece in pendants, rings and earrings. We can also find complete sets created in this alluring stone.

Sparkling blue vintage ring: This is the most common and most desirable design. Here a platinum band embedded with diamonds shines with a dazzling blue topaz stone in the centre.

Light blue oval Topaz Ring: In this design an oval-shaped topaz in a light blue colour is embedded over a rose gold band. There are also clear crystals that surround the stone.

Quad Yellow Topaz Ring: In this design, the sunshine yellow topaz stone is cut in square shape and planted over a beaded gold band.

Tiny blue Topaz Ring: Multiple topaz stones are used for this kind of a ring design. It is a simple band that has Topaz embedded all around it.

Fiery red Topaz Ring: Red coloured Topaz is a rare sight in jewellery. However, there are rings available in the traditional design where a round stone is placed over a yellow gold ring. This is a modest design, but as the Topaz stone exhibits a striking red colour, it can be used as a statement piece.
