Clip-on earrings are the kind of earrings, which you can just clip on to the ears and flaunt away without even piercing.
Clip-on earrings became a trend right from the Victorian Era.
There are many types of clip-on earrings, and they are:

Hinge Earrings: It was invented during the 1930s and is a convenient and simple design. Just as the name suggests, there is a hinge to shut and open the earrings. A friction groove is added now to secure it in place.
