Rudraksha mala is a string of prayer beads used by Hindu religion followers during Japa or puja or any other important religious ceremony for chanting or reciting mantras. The beads are called rudrakshas, and the garland is called mala; hence the name. According to the Vedas, they are 'the tears of Lord Shiva'. Believers usually wear rudraksha mala with a golden string because of its elegance and positive energy.
At first, you have to understand that each rudraksha can have up to 21 faces named as Ekh Mukhi, Paanch Mukhi, Nav mukhi etc. They also have different benefits; for instance, Ek Mukhi is said to have the power to fulfil one's desires.
Next, you have to attach these beads using a gold string. The beads should not be tied tightly. Otherwise, this little carelessness can crack the rudrakshas resulting in loss of its divine powers.
There are a variety of golden rudraksha mala designs available. You can find rudraksha with gold-coated, gold-capped and gold forming designs. A custom mala can also be made as per your specific requirements.
While wearing rudraksha Japa mala, avoid contact with chemicals.
