Haldi Jewellery

Haldi is one of the core ceremonies. It is a momentous ceremony for both the bride and groom. For the ceremony, Haldi (turmeric) paste is applied on the face and body of the groom and the bride by their relatives and friends. The more noticeable part about the ceremony is the jewellery worn by the bride, and these are named as “Haldi Jewelry.” It is usually made using natural or artificial flowers.

For the Haldi jewellery made with real flowers, flowers like jasmine, tuberose, rose, etc., are used. There is a mythological concept behind the origin of using this jewellery. This jewellery goes hand in hand with traditional outfits. The floral jewellery is also worn on occasions such as the Mehendi ceremony, Sangeet ceremony, the wedding ceremony, etc.
