Men Jewellery

Men were equally adorned as women in the past, with their preferences undergoing timely changes, and often replicated in their jewels and the attire.

Men’s jewellery encompasses watches, bracelets, rings, tie bars, necklaces, cufflinks and earrings, basically all accessories complementing the outfit.

The choice of the strap of the wristwatch and the bracelet reflects the occasion on which it is worn. Typically leather straps and Golden straps go well with casual wear and formal wear respectively.

Comparable is the case with bracelets too. They must be classy and must be chosen in correspondence to the wrist size. If two or three bracelets are worn together, their colours should complement each other.

Most men limit the number of rings in their hands to only one; most often their wedding rings, while others embellish their fingers with a greater number of rings to display their extravagance. The rings are usually made of metal or wood or a hybrid of metal and wood, corresponding to the other accessories.

The necklaces, comprising of Gold chains, cross necklaces and dog tags, when worn, will be hidden inside the shirt.

The Gold chains come in different lengths and thicknesses, in 22 K Gold and Platinum, in sophisticated designs and patterns.

The dog tags made of Stainless Steel usually have a pendant made in the shape of a dog tag.

The cufflinks are the part of men’s jewellery that is rarely noticed. They are worn along with a shirt with French cuffs. It should ideally be made of the same metal as the other accessories.

Even though nose rings are not an essential part of men’s jewellery, septum piercings are preferred by western people of the modern era.
