National, 9th May 2020: This Mother’s Day, Kalyan Jewellers celebrates the eternal bond of love that a mother shares with her children with an all new digital campaign. The jewellery brand’s launched a digital film, which will set you on a nostalgic journey into your childhood.
The film has Amitabh Bachchan reciting the poem ‘Maa Tune Sone Ka Dil Paaya’ – thus paying homage to all mothers. The video rendition of this poetic tribute features ‘Ma & Me’ images, sourced from Kalyan’s patrons via social media. From the hundreds of crowdsourced photographs, the brand handpicked some of the best moments captured on camera, and used those in its campaign video. With this film, the jewellery brand pays tribute to all the mothers who make invaluable sacrifices and embrace multiple roles in order to raise their children.
Speaking about this campaign Mr. Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director, Kalyan Jewellers said, “Mothers, almost always, are our biggest support system. This year, while some of us are lucky enough to celebrate Mother’s Day with her, there are several others who are celebrating it from afar – wishing they were home. In times like these, holding on to some of those good moments by taking a trip down memory lane, is what we could do. Our Mother’s Day campaign has therefore sought to follow this approach. We have brought together poetry and the evergreen voice of Amitabh Bachchan and juxtaposed them with real photographs sourced from our patrons.”
